Exports and the Reports page

Your data is yours, in two flavors: quick date-ranged reports for operations, and complete exports for backups, accountants, or leaving (we would rather earn the renewal than lock the door).

The Reports page (owners and managers)

Pick a range (7, 30, 90 day presets or custom dates) and download CSVs of customers, pools, service history, chemistry, equipment, quotes, or the activity log. Ranges respect your company timezone, so "September" means your September.

Also on this page:

• Sales tax report: tax collected for a range, net of refunds, broken out by jurisdiction. This is the filing-ready number; no spreadsheet surgery required.
• Quote performance: conversion rate, average quote value, time to approval, and your top catalog items by revenue.
• Profitability: see Profit per pool.

Full exports (owner only)

Under Settings, Your Data, the owner can export the complete company record with no date filter: every customer (including cancelled ones, for the full ledger), every pool, every visit, reading, equipment item, quote, and the audit log.

Reading the CSVs

• The apostrophe on phone numbers is intentional. Spreadsheet apps treat cells starting with symbols like + as live formulas, which is a real attack vector with imported data, so those cells are exported with a protective quote prefix. Excel shows the number fine; strip the prefix only if another system chokes on it.
• The activity log export shows who did what and when; it never includes the raw before-and-after data blobs.
• Chemistry rows include the dosing recommendations that were generated at entry time, so the export stands alone as a service record.

Ripple effects

• Every export is itself logged to the activity trail (who exported what, when, how many rows), which matters if you ever offboard a manager.
• Timesheet and payroll data lives on the Team page's Time Off & Pay tab with its own CSV, kept separate from these operational exports on purpose.
