PoolChecker Pro has no passwords. You sign in with your email address, we email you a 6-digit code, and you type it in. That is the whole flow, every time.

Create your account

  1. Go to app.poolchecker.com/register and choose a plan.
  2. Enter your name, email, mobile number, and company name, then accept the terms.
  3. Type in the 6-digit code we email you.
  4. On the Free plan, we then text a code to your mobile to confirm it. Paid plans skip this step, because the payment does that job.
  5. Confirm your company details. A promo code or referral code goes here. On a paid plan, continuing takes you to payment.

Already run a company on PoolChecker? Do not sign up again: add the new one from inside your existing account. See Running multiple companies.

Your company name must be unique across PoolChecker Pro, and it is what your customers see on texts, emails, and their pool report page, so use the real business name.

Where your company takes shape: Company Info, Branding, and the per-day Business Hours
The same setup on a phone

If you pick a paid plan, you pay right at signup and your company is ready the moment the payment goes through. Put any promo code in our Promo code box before you continue to payment. The promotion code link on the Stripe payment page is a separate system and will not recognize a PoolChecker code. The free plan needs no card at all.

Left the payment page before paying? The company is not active yet, and it says Not active yet where your plan would show. Your Get started page then reads "This company isn't active yet." with a Finish checkout button, and adding customers and pools waits until checkout is done.

Settings worth doing on day one

Open Settings from the menu under your avatar (top right).

Company Info: business phone, business email, street address, and service area. The business email matters more than it looks: replies to any email we send your customers go to it. It starts out as your sign-in email, so if the company has its own inbox (info@yourcompany.com), change it here. Your time zone is here too. It starts as the one picked at signup (filled in from your browser), so check it: routes and reports use it everywhere.

Business Hours: set your working days and hours, and add holidays. Hours drive when techs get GPS tracked, when notifications go out, and which days the route planner treats as workable. Under Holidays & Closures, each common holiday shows the date it next falls on, so Thanksgiving and Labor Day always land on the right day. Tap one to add it, or add any other date by hand, then tap Save Hours.

Company Branding: upload your logo and pick your two brand colors. Customer-facing pages (the pool report portal, quote approvals, invoices, lead forms) all wear your branding, not ours.

What happens next

On the Free plan, finishing signup opens your Get started page. On a paid plan, you come back from payment to the dashboard, where a Finish setting up card opens it. Get started walks you from an empty book of business to your first route run from your phone; Welcome to PoolChecker Pro explains each step.

Next step: add your first customer and pool, or if you are moving from another system, import everything at once.
