Get paid
Turn on payouts, save cards on file, send payment links, and put monthly customers on autopilot.

PoolChecker's payments run on Stripe, the same processor behind millions of businesses. Money goes from your customer's card or bank account to your bank account; PoolChecker never holds your funds.
Turn on payouts
- Open Settings, Billing, Payouts and tap the setup button.
- Stripe walks you through identity and bank details. It usually takes a few minutes.
- When the screen shows charges enabled, you can take payments.
The three ways to collect
Card on file: from the customer's page, send a secure link where the customer saves their card once. After that you can charge it in two taps for any completed work. Bank (ACH) payment is supported too and costs less in processing.
Payment link: no card on file needed. Text or email a checkout link for a specific invoice or amount; the customer pays on their phone. The link is short, branded, and safe to forward.
Recurring billing: for flat monthly accounts. Pick the amount, the day of the month, and exactly which months bill (skip the winter if you close pools). Each charge invoices itself and appears in the customer's history like any other payment. It uses the saved card or bank mandate, so set the card on file first.
Quotes flow into invoices
The natural chain: build a quote, send it, the customer approves online (you can require a deposit at approval), the work happens, the quote becomes an invoice, and the invoice gets paid by link or saved card. Every step is tracked, and the invoice page always shows the true remaining balance net of deposits and partial payments.
Larger jobs can be split into up to three installments charged automatically.
What it costs
Two pieces, both taken out of the payout, never added to your customer's bill: Stripe's standard processing fee, plus a small PoolChecker platform fee that shrinks on higher plans. The exact split for any payment shows on its payment record.
Receipts and bookkeeping
Customers get an emailed receipt automatically on every successful charge. The Reports page has a sales tax report ready for filing, and if you use QuickBooks Online, payments, invoices, and fees sync there on their own once connected.
That is the full loop: customers in, routes built, work done, money collected. From here, browse the other categories for the deeper features, and if a question is not answered here yet, the Feedback tab in the app reaches us directly.
