Invite your team

Roles, seats, and what each person can see. How to bring techs and managers into your company.

Updated September 11, 2026

Team accounts are a Pro plan feature. Free and Solo are single-operator plans; on Pro, each manager or tech you add is a paid seat on your subscription.

Send an invite

  1. Open Team and tap Invite.
  2. Enter their email and pick a role.
  3. They get an email invite; accepting it asks for their name and phone and drops them straight into your company.

If the invite button says you are out of seats, add one first under Settings, Subscription, Team Seats. Seat changes prorate on your bill automatically.

What each role can do

  • Owner: everything, including the subscription, payouts, and deleting data. There is exactly one owner; ownership can be transferred from the Team page.
  • Manager: runs the operation. Customers, pools, routes, quotes, team, reports, settings. Managers cannot transfer ownership or cancel the subscription.
  • Tech: sees their own routes and the pools and customers they service, works the stop screen, and can add notes, photos, readings, and quotes. Techs never see billing, other techs' routes, or your full customer list.

Things to tell a new tech

  • Sign-in is by email link, no password to remember.
  • PoolChecker allows one active sign-in per account. Signing in on a new phone signs out the old one, so accounts cannot be shared between techs.
  • Their location is only recorded during an active route inside business hours, and they will see a notice whenever it is on.
  • My Account (under their avatar) is where they set their name, start location, and appearance.

Optional but nice

  • Labels on the Team page (Certified, Trainee, Spanish speaker) are display tags for organizing the crew.
  • Team Performance shows the badge leaderboard, and Team Map shows live positions and a day replay for owners and managers.

Next: set up customer texts.
